Vancouver, Washington in April!! Recently my family and I traveled to Washington for my niece's wedding and in 80 degree weather (unusual for Washington) went sightseeing to Mt. St. Helen's and enjoyed the summer-like weather with the snow and the beautiful backdrop of this very famous volcano!
We booked all our travel plans through my Traverus Travel portal and for $300 were able to get our roundtrip airfare, rental car, and 2 nights at the Hilton!! Very nice! The Hilton overlooked the historic downtown district of Vancouver and within walking distance were cafes, outdoor marketplaces, and a park that attracted locals and visitors alike.
The Hilton was fantastic!! The beds were so comfortable it was like sleeping at home and the service impeccable--highly recommend it for a great place to stay!!
Vancouver is just across the river from Portland and there are so many beautiful places to visit.
Multhoma Falls is one of the tourist attractions not far from the Portland Airport and what a gorgeous spot it is! It can be seen right off the freeway and people come here to get a close up view of the falls, with gift shops and restaurants available.
